Meet Cassandra, one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk into our Oshawa clinic. A full-time student at Durham College, she’s working toward becoming a registered massage therapist, a path that brings together her natural curiosity, steady focus, and genuine desire to help people feel and move better. Though her professional roots are in marketing and advertising, Cassandra realized her true passion lies in health, wellness, and fitness. She’s the kind of person who lights up when talking about recovery routines, mobility work, or the satisfaction of a good training session because she’s living it herself.
That blend of communication savvy and health focus makes Cassandra an asset at our front desk. She understands how to make a first impression that’s warm and organized, and she brings a calm, can-do energy to every interaction. Whether she’s helping you check in, answering questions about appointments, or pointing you to helpful resources, Cassandra’s goal is simple: make your visit smooth, clear, and stress-free so you can focus on your care. Her attention to detail shows up in the little things, tidy paperwork, double-checked bookings, and thoughtful reminders that help keep your wellness routine on track.
When she’s not studying or at the gym, you’ll probably find Cassandra with her headphones on. She loves music across genres, with a soft spot for R&B and icons like Michael Jackson and Prince. Ask her about a favorite track and you’ll get an easy smile plus a recommendation or two; music, like movement, is part of how she resets and stays motivated through a busy student schedule.
Cassandra’s long-term aim is to bring hands-on therapeutic skills to the people of Durham Region, supporting recovery, performance, and everyday wellbeing. In the meantime, she’s happily building experience in a clinic environment, learning, listening, and connecting with patients and team members alike. She believes small, consistent habits are what move health forward; her own commitment to training, learning, and balance reflects that philosophy.
You’ll find Cassandra at the front desk on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. If you’re new to the clinic, she’ll help you get oriented; if you’re a returning patient, she’ll make sure everything is set for another productive visit. Say hello when you see her, she’s always happy to help, and even happier to cheer you on as you move toward your goals.
