Mikaela joined Chiropractic Wellness and Rehabilitation in September 2022. When deciding on a career, a profession that helped others above all else was at the top of her priorities. After a few years of searching, she took a chance on Massage Therapy at Durham College where she quickly fell in love with the program and the profession. What started out as a field of study quickly turned into a passion. Every new piece of knowledge she gains about the profession is exciting, and Mikaela tries to pass that excitement along to her patients. It is her hope that after coming to see her, you leave a little more relaxed, and a little bit more knowledgeable than when you arrived.
Having grown up receiving chiropractic care her whole life, she understands the need for collaborative care. When seeking out a place of practice, the multidisciplinary aspect of CWR was instantly appealing, and each day at the clinic she is more and more excited to be working alongside this team. Born in Ajax and raised in Pickering, Mikaela has strong roots in the Durham Region, and is grateful that her efforts can be used to give back to this community.
In her spare time, Mikaela enjoys baking, crafting, writing and especially music. When you come to see her, let her know if you’ve got a music request, she’s always open to hearing something new!
Mikaela is a member of both the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario CMTO, in which she is licensed and of good standing.
Mikaela sees patients on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays!
